What is Holistic Nutrition?

Proper nutrition is the basis for optimum health and well being. Holistic nutrition focuses on a natural approach to a healthy diet and considers the individual as a whole, including all aspects of their lifestyle. A holistic approach to proper nutrition encourages education on basic nutrition to develop a holistic diet that incorporates natural and organic foods, natural holistic supplements and food treatments for chronic health conditions.

While following a holistic nutrition plan there is never a reason to go hungry or count calories. Holistic nutrition is about finding what works for you and what makes you feel good under the given guidelines. When it comes to food Stephanie believes that there are no such foods as “bad” foods, but rather changing your mindset to “how does this food nourish my body?” If it offers an abundance of nourishment then dig in! If it will off-set your balance, not offer nourishment, or increase your well-being, limit it. With Stephanie you will schedule a plan based on your goals when you can have special treats so you don’t feel like you are missing out.  This is all discussed while working with her and she will be there every step of the way to support you.

What to expect for your first visit:

Prior to arriving to your first appointment please fill out the initial intake form and send it back to Stephanie via email, fax, or mail 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment time. This will allow her to dedicate more time to you during your visit.

At your first visit you will be given a nutrition plan that is easy to follow. You will set goals and create actions step(s) as to how to achieve them. You will be given a few “homework” assignments and will go over other important tools that will be paramount to your success.

***Please bring all supplements that you are currently taking with you to your first appointment.

Stephanie is very passionate about nutrition as she has used it to heal her body from deficiencies caused from anorexia and adrenal fatigue. She believes that the foundation to good health stems from nutrition and has helped many people to transform their lives. She looks forward to working with you.
