Alisa Tiburzi : Professional Story
Alisa’s story is that for a full year she worked a full time job and a second job to pay the bills. She lived off of caffeine and became ill from lack of sleep. She decided to pack her bags and left for the west coast where she enrolled as a student to become a yoga instructor with Integrative OM in San Diego. During her studies she became particularly drawn to the yoga sutras and practicing meditation, pranayama (breathing exercises) and sanskrit chanting. She believes whole-heartedly that these practices significantly enhance her ability to cope with daily life stresses such as work and relationships, and her classes are structured to combine these aspects so that nothing is left out. Alisa is trained in vinyasa flow, with additional training in thai massage techniques and adjustments. She is currently working on hot yoga and yin yoga training.
Alisa’s favorite color is purple. She loves to travel and has been to Spain and traveled across the country twice. She loves sushi! Her favorite book is The Yoga Sutras, by Payanjali.
